420 stainless steel pipe is a martensitic type stainless steel with a high carbon content. 420 stainless steel has limited heat resistance and is more suitable for low temperature working environments. Its maximum working temperature is usually 650°C. Heat treatment processes such as solution treatment and quenching annealing can be performed to improve the heat resistance of 420 stainless steel. These treatments can improve the grain boundary structure and grain size of the material, thereby improving its heat resistance. The heat resistance of 420 stainless steel pipe is lower than other heat-resistant stainless steels and works more efficiently in low temperature environments. In high temperature applications, it is recommended to choose a stainless steel material with better heat resistance.
